In honor of American Diabetes Month, VQ ActionCare will be giving away one Resistance Chair®, the patented at-home exercise cable system, to one very deserving person who is at risk or living with diabetes who has inspired others or made a difference in his or her community. Enter by November 30, 2009.

A new series of Resistance Chair commercials will be introduced later this month on national television. The new spots will feature physical therapists, kinesiologists, and personal trainers who use the Resistance Chair with their patients and clients. Stay tuned…

VQ ActionCare encourages personal trainers to enter our new workout video contest: Create a 3 to 5 minute home video of a workout routine that utilizes the Resistance Chair and post it on YouTube. We will choose the best video based on a number of criteria, including the personal trainer’s presentation skills, and how well the instructor uses the Resistance Chair exercises to address a specific target area, such as the arms, shoulders, or core.

The contest winner will receive a cash prize of $500, a free Resistance Chair and Freedom Flex shoulder stretcher, and a chance to be featured in an upcoming VQ ActionCare television commercial. Second and third winners will each receive a free Resistance Chair exercise system.

“We have a growing number of personal trainers who use the Resistance Chair with their clients”, explains Ron Perkins, VQ ActionCare Marketing Director, “and we feel that a contest offers a great way to showcase some of the innovation and enthusiasm that we see from this group when they use the Resistance Chair.”

To enter your video, you must first post it on YouTube.com and then email us with the link to the video. YouTube.com provides instructions on how to post videos on their site. We’ve had a number of people call in to the office in the last few weeks to ask about when we plan to offer new workouts on DVD for the Resistance Chair. We are currently planning our next video shoot for April and should have some new titles by May of this year. These new DVDs will include more strenuous workouts for the Resistance Chair, as well as videos that show how to use the exer-cycle bike attachments and the Freedom Flex overhead stretching attachment.
